The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene

Bordocolle Spumanti produces Prosecco DOCG wines in the territory bordering the Prosecco Hills in
Conegliano-Valdobbiadene
. In this area, the encounter between the gifts of nature and human craftsmanship has resulted in an extraordinary landscape for not just wine production, but also culture and the environment. This unique landscape became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019.

Characteristics of the area

The hills in the production area of Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano – Valdobbiadene have ancient origins, dating back to the uplift of marine and lacustrine floors. The resulting soils are deep, made of conglomerates of rock and sand with traces of clay and, in some areas, iron. Different soils, just as different are their slope and exposure: a natural alchemy that imparts its own personality to each wine produced in this area.
